She needs wide open spaces
Room to make her big mistakes
She needs new faces
She knows the high stakes

With LoveMirian‘s first birthday fast approaching I can’t help but reflect on the past year. There has been so much growth personally, professionally, and creatively. There have been setbacks and victories. Failures and successes. I’m far from where I want to be but happy to be here and happy to have you with me.
Summer’s not over just yet! At least not over here. As the days have been getting cooler and shorter I’ve been feeling myself getting nostalgic for the summer that just slipped away. What better time than now to put out my series of shots in a throwback Wrangler two piece set? It’s 90’s feel good vibes to relive summer ’16 one more time…
Not all who wander are lost…
Spring has been slow to arrive in Toronto. Winter came late and didn’t want to leave. When the snow finally melted, the cold still lingered. I waited for the cherry blossoms and they never came. All I saw around me was dry, chilled dirt.
It was around 6:00pm in the evening. My partner came by and I asked if we could go for a walk. When I was child, living in Michigan, I used to love going for solitary walks in my neighborhood. “Let’s go on an adventure,” I said.
As February draws to a close I can’t help but notice the days getting warmer and longer. I’m starting to feel both my wardrobe and I slowly draw out of hibernation and I’m so excited to feel the sun’s rays on my skin.
Spring is that time to shed your layers and embrace bare skin. There’s something about an all white look that just feels so
godly fresh and I love that. I love the modern, bohemian style of this look from Zara. The volume on the top is complimented by the wide legged pants culminating in a loose, relaxed silhouette.
Take a cue from the photo set below and rediscover a natural, clean aesthetic. Breathe in the fresh air. Find new paths.
One of the most fun things about running this blog is that it encourages me to get out and explore the city of Toronto that I currently call home. I’ve lived here for a few years now and I am still constantly discovering new things about it. This city is full of so many hidden gems: Mom-and-Pop restaurants, quaint little fashion boutiques, and tucked away natural wonders like the garden in this outfit set. We were doing some location scouting in the heart of the downtown area when all of a sudden I saw this shadowy, inconspicuous entrance that seemed to lead back to some greenery. Turns out it was a beautiful community garden. It was too late to shoot that night so we came back the next day.
